Terms of Service

By using CVMindAI (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is currently in public beta and may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable.

The Service uses AI to analyse and rewrite CVs against a target role and produce a tailored PDF and Word file. Output is suggestion, not advice. You are responsible for reviewing every change before sending the CV to an employer.

AI models can produce confident but wrong output, including invented dates, mislabelled companies, or inflated metrics. We take steps to reduce this (recruiter-style validation, hallucination checks) but cannot guarantee accuracy. Always proof-read the optimised CV before submitting it anywhere. The Service is provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind.

CVMindAI does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employer responses, application-form autofill, or a pass in any specific ATS or recruitment system. Scores and feedback are practical guidance only.

• Use the Service only for CVs that belong to you or that you have permission to edit.
• Do not upload material that is unlawful, defamatory, or contains content you would not be willing to share with a third-party AI provider.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, automate misuse of the service, or reverse the AI prompts.
• Do not use the Service to generate misleading CVs (fake qualifications, fabricated roles, plagiarised content).

We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

To keep the Service stable and affordable, we apply rate limits per IP and per account. Current limits are visible to you only by hitting them — broadly: a small number of full optimisations per day, more frequent ATS scans, and a longer file-upload allowance. These numbers may change.

Prices are shown in GBP. CVMindAI is not currently VAT registered, so we do not add VAT to the checkout price and we cannot issue VAT invoices. If that changes, we will update the checkout wording and these terms before charging VAT.

We keep payment records, receipts, refunds, and related support records for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not see or store full card numbers.

The Job Hunt Pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks the PDF and Word downloads for a single optimised CV. There is no subscription, renewal, or recurring charge.

The files are delivered digitally after successful checkout. When you ask us to deliver the files immediately after payment, you acknowledge that any statutory 14-day cancellation right may end once download or email delivery begins.

Even after digital delivery starts, we offer a separate goodwill refund policy: if the result is not useful, email support@cvmindai.com within 7 days of purchase and we will refund the one-time payment in full. We may ask for the checkout email, receipt, or session reference so we can find the purchase.

You keep all rights to the CV content you upload and the optimised output. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to deliver the Service. We retain all rights to the Service itself, including the website, code, and prompts.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or GBP 10 if you have not paid us anything. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost job opportunities, missed interviews, lost earnings, etc.). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
